Our main task is to satisfy our inhabitant’s wishes and needs. Hallstahammar municipality attempts to stimulate development and keep our inhabitants satisfied.

We have competent personnel who can answer questions about building, environment, streets, water, sewers, traffic, community planning, indoor and outdoor environment and more.

Some of our goals are

• That there are plans for attractive housing in all parts of the municipality.
• That people will not be exposed to unacceptable levels of noise.
• The biological multitude is preserved and developed.
• Retain a good standard on the streets, walking and bicycle streets.
• Retain the quality of our water.
