The magnificent municipality of Hallstahammar lies in the heart of the Stockholm-Mälardalen region, and has around 15,000 residents and 700 businesses.

Here you’ll experience the deep forests of the Bergslagen region in the north, and the flatlands by the blue waters of Lake Mälaren in the south. Like a blue ribbon, the waterways of the Kolbäcksån river system wind from north to south and form part of the Strömsholm Canal. Along the canal, there are many interesting sights and places to visit.
